Hello, Summer – We’ve Been Waiting for You!

As I’m writing this, summer officially starts tomorrow and let me tell you, we are here for it! This is our favorite time of year at Jerzey Junction. The sun is shining, the waffle cones are stacked high (not too high because we like 'em fresh), and our shoppe is bursting with smiles and sweet treats. We absolutely LOVE seeing our favorite faces stroll in- whether you're rolling in after a sunny day on the lake, hopping off your bike for a cool-down treat, or driving up with the windows down and ice cream on your mind. The vibe is just pure joy. School's out, the kids are free, and we’re seeing so many friends and families swinging by to grab their favorite flavors of ice cream and candy (we see you, chocolate lovers!). And can we talk about the grandkids? Oh yes, all the grandbabies are in full candy-AND-ice-cream mode. Let’s be honest, we grandparents are more than happy to spoil them just a little (okay, a lot).

This season, we’re jazzing up the outside of the shoppe and trust me, it’s just as fun and fabulous as it sounds. Hubby and I hit up a flea market this spring with my father-in-law, and boy, did we score some fun surprises for Debbie. They were absolute troopers helping haul our treasures, including Jazzy the Giraffe planter (my favorite flea market find ever, hands down). And have you seen our mint ice cream cone out front? Yep, that beauty is my second favorite. Watching kids snap pics next to it totally melts my heart- just like a scoop of ice cream on a hot day. Right now we’re getting ready to place our new planters outside, and I am obsessed with how it’s coming together. Of course, Debbie took my idea and turned the cuteness up to eleven with those fun, big pinwheels. Aren’t they the best?? Being a preschool teacher sure comes in handy!!

Oh- and here's a little cherry on top: we’ve got some fun guest scoopers joining us this summer! 👀 We can’t wait to drop the scoop on who’s coming behind the counter. Let’s just say, you won’t want to miss it. We’re also planning some sweet summer events at the Junction! As those plans become more official, we’ll be dishing all the details. Stay tuned because summer fun is just getting started.
