Warning: August at Jerzey Junction May Cause Excessive Smiling

Can you believe it’s already almost August?! Last summer, Debbie and I (Michelle here 👋) were just two sisters, standing in an ice cream shoppe, pretending we knew what we were doing. Spoiler alert: we didn’t. We loved ice cream and ate enough of it to qualify as "experts" but the actual business of running an ice cream and candy shop? That was a whole new sundae to scoop.

But here we are, year two, baby! 🙌 We’ve taken our lessons from last year- the wins, the whoopsies, the “wait, what?” moments and turned them into a smoother, sweeter operation. More efficient? Check. More creative? Check. Let’s just say we’ve traded chaos for creativity and we’ve got the sprinkles to prove it!

Now let’s talk about this season so far...... Y’ALL SHOWED UP. The Shortie Sundae? Best selling sundae. The Shark Week- Chumbucks......Gone in a flash. The Shirley Temple Float? A full-on fizz fest. And apparently, our ideas were so good that a few other places decided to “borrow” them. We see you 😉 And honestly? We’re flattered. Keep the compliments coming!

But if you thought July was fun? Buckle up, friends- August is bringing the heat (hopefully not too much more heat, phew). 🍦🔥

🍦 August 2 – National Ice Cream Sandwich Day

Debbie’s ready to unleash her sandwich-making superpowers. Cookies and cold ice cream. It’s the perfect excuse to eat dessert before lunch. Or for lunch. No judgment here!

🚓 August 16 – Cops & Cones + Stuff the Squad

Come support our awesome Lake Mills PD by donating school supplies. F&M State Bank will be matching backpacks donated. Jerzey Junction will be donating $500 to their Mental Wellness Fund. Show up, spread kindness, and eat some cones with local heroes.

🏈 August 18–22 – Crosstown Competition Week

The legendary Slider Bowl is back on August 22nd! Which school will scoop up the win this year? Your votes decide and the winning school’s Booster Club gets $500 from us. Game on!

🎬 August 23 – Movie Night: Bring Your Own Box Car

That’s right- it's our second and FINAL movie night of the season! Roll up in your best cardboard creation and you could win a prize for the Best Box Car. Rumor has it Debbie is crafting a special sundae just for the night... maybe you better bug her about it? 😂

🐾 August 26 – National Dog Day

Because our four-legged customers deserve love too! Get your pup a Pup Cup. Tail wags guaranteed. We would love our social to be filled with your pics of your pups enjoying one!

🍩 August 30 – Ice Cream for Breakfast

BACK by popular demand! We’re opening at 8 AM so you can start your day with a Waffle Sundae or Donut Ice Cream Sandwich. And yes, there will be coffee for the grown-ups this time. Wear your best family-friendly PJs and let’s kick off the school year with sprinkles and smiles!

We know, that’s a lot. We’re already sweating and we haven’t even scooped anything yet! But here’s the thing: Debbie and I created Jerzey Junction to be more than just a place to get your sugar fix. We want this to be your  go to place. A place to bring the kids. To treat yourself. To celebrate. To make memories that stick (like marshmallow fluff on a hot day).

We’re so thankful for all of you who show up with smiles, sweet tooths, and kind words. You’re what keeps us going- even on the sticky, syrup-covered, lose 12 tubs kind of days.
